Editorial Policy & Transparency
Our goal is to publish clear, neutral, educational content that helps readers understand dating services without hype or pressure.
How reviews and ratings are produced
Every review on this site follows the same published methodology, detailed in full on our how we review page: six scoring categories, checked against a platform's own current pricing and policy pages rather than its marketing copy, with a note on the review itself when we're working from aggregated research rather than firsthand testing. No platform pays for a better score, and none see a review before publication.
How we handle affiliate relationships
Where a link to a reviewed platform generates revenue for this site, that relationship never influences the score or the content of the review — the same methodology and the same scrutiny apply whether a link is monetized or not. We don't accept payment in exchange for a specific rating, a more favorable writeup, or removal of a negative finding.
Corrections and re-verification
Pricing, features, and policies change — reviews are re-verified on a recurring schedule, and the "last verified" date on each page reflects when that last happened, not when the page was first written. If you spot outdated or incorrect information, our contact page reaches the editorial team directly, and corrections are tracked and applied to the live page rather than silently edited.
What we don't do
- Publish under invented expert personas or fabricated credentials.
- Accept payment for a specific score or a guaranteed positive review.
- Let a platform preview or approve a review before it's published.
- Present aggregated research as firsthand testing without saying so.
